We have successfully Bleached the knots

Bleaching knots is currently the best known method of making hair appear to be growing from the scalp, however this may not make them completely invisible from close up. When hair is tied to the lace, there is a dark knot where the hair is secured. Bleaching or "lightening" the knots reduces the visibility of this knot. On black, off black and dark brown hair, the knots are lightened to a light brown shade. Very light brown and blond and shades usually do not need bleached knots.

Bleached knots are best if kept only at the hair line. They generally are not needed through out the entire unit and are traditionally only done at the hair line of the full lace wig as to preserve the integrity of the hair and knots.

We only bleach the knots at the hairline and middle, and seal the roots as a request for $15. 

It take us 3 or 4 extra days if extra bleach knots are requested.

Please refrain yourself from stratching the knots if your head itches when your unit arrives. Make sure your natural hair is wash and clean before applying the unit.Take care removing your unit. Unit can be taken off and washed weekly for hair hygiene purposes. Washing your natural hair weekly also helps it to grow.

If the hair is lifiting then there are few possiblilties.
1. The glue does not work with your body chemistry.
2. You have a temporary hold adhesive.
3. too much oil in your skin.

Supplies Needed:
Liquid Adhesive or Tape Adhesive
Cotton Ball or Q-tip
Rubbing Alcohol

When applying your wig you want to start with a clean surface.

1. Take 70% or more rubbing alcohol or Witch Hazel and cleans the area that you will use to attach your wig.

**Optional Apply a skin protector
 

2. Next apply a THIN layer of glue. Allow it to dry. Apply a second thin layer once dry OR Clear Attach your lace unit
3. Use Pressure to Press down on your lace into your skin. Using a Makeup Sponge (The triangle shaped kind) and gently press on the lace and PULL DOWN toward your face. This will create a blending affect.
4. Pressure is what keeps most bonds looking flawless. take a scarf, silk preferable and tie it around the hairline. Leave it on for 30 min.

Most important is that you do not leave TOO much lace on the wig. Cut it back as close to the baby hair line as possible wihout cutting into your hair.

One of the keys to maintaining your lace wig for a longer life is gentle handling of the lace. It is vital to allow the adhesive remover to work and completely release before attempting to remove your lace wig. Allowing the lace to completely release will also preserve your natural hairline.

1. Spray some Adhesive Remover or equivalent oil based solvent (Citrus Solvent or Pure CitruSpice, etc), through the lace unit on the hair side or where it is needed.

2. Wait for wig to completely release. If needed, spray, or drip, remover between lace until and skin to ensure a clean release.

3. If there is glue remaining in lace wig, use the Mirror Slide to remove the glue. The Mirror Slide is one of the easiest methods to safely remove glue residue from holes in the lace.

4. MIRROR SLIDE -- Push the lace side of the wig firmly against a mirror and simply drag, or slide wig down the glass. The glue will pull out of the lace and deposit on the mirror. use windex to clean the mirror.

5. Wash lace wig to clean and remove any remaining residue.

6. Spray some Adhesive Remover or equivalent oil based solvent where needed. Wait a few minutes.  Using a fine toothcomb; gently comb and wipe away residue

7. Use the solvent to remover the glue off your baby hair. It's best to use it and not lose the baby hair.

There's an advantage of increasing your hair growth under your lace wig. Reduction of heat, Less Manipulation, etc. There are simple methods that can be applied to increase your hair growth.

1 is taking vitamins. I will include other methods later down in the week.

 Once you are sure that nothing will stand in your way, choose your vitamin regimen and begin taking them on a daily basis. The most commonly used vitamins for hair growth are the B-Vitamins, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Biotin, Garlic and More.

B-Vitamins include thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin, folic acid, and cobalamin. They all support various functions of the body, including oxidation, cell repair, DNA synthesis, and the breakdown of carbohydrates. Although each is a separate and distinct vitamin, they work in tandem to promote healthy, thicker, and longer hair. The easiest way to guarantee your intake of all 8 of these vitamins, is to take a B-Complex supplement. Make sure that the complex contains the daily requirements of each of the B's. You can also take additional amounts of one or more of the individual vitamins, like pantothenic acid or biotin, which many people feel benefit the hair growth cycle more than the others. Some foods that are rich in B-Vitamins include legumes, vegetables, grains, eggs, and liver.

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient for a range of metabolic reactions in the body and is also a powerful antioxidant. It is a requirement for the synthesis of collagen, which is a protein that is a main component of hair. Add a Vitamin C supplement to your B-complex and increase your intake of foods that are high sources of Vitamin C. These foods include, citrus fruits, green peppers, strawberries, potatoes, leafy greens, and cantaloupe.

Vitamin E is important in the formation of red blood cells and is an antioxidant that protects the body from damage caused by free radicals, which can affect cells, tissues, and organs. Regular doses of Vitamin E, either via a supplement or through food consumption, leads to improved circulation. The scalp reaps the rewards of this boost in cardiovascular function, and in turn, the growth cycle of the hair becomes more efficient. Food sources of vitamin E include asparagus, olives, seeds, avocado, almonds, vegetable oils, and cucumbers

Biotin plays a significant part in the prevention of hair loss. Most nutritionists agree that biotin is one of the important vitamins for supporting hair growth. It also keeps your skin and nails healthy as well as being an important element of new hair growth.

Is your Lace to light? You can simply make it darker buy using Fabricmate pen or Rite Dye powder. Which can be purchased with one of our units.

Method can also be done for a Silk Top. Please use the powder lightely for a Silk Top. Silk Top can easily Stain (ryte dye powder recommended).

Fabric Mate Pen

Very easy to color lace. Turn the cap inside out, and color the area you want darker. Do not need to rinse out.

Rit Dye Powder

Various colors available (Cocoa Brown, Dark Brown, etc)

Step1  Grab the lace you want to dye by one corner.

Step2  Prepare the dyebaths. For every color you want to use, heat 2 gallons of water to a temperature just below boiling. For best results, use a large metal pot. Put on your rubber gloves and add 1 package of RIT powder to each dyebath.

Step3 Place the clothing in the lightest color dyebath as the dye continues to heat to not-quite-simmering. Dip it in and out depending on how dark or bright you want the color to be.

 

Step4  Rinse it continually under the cold faucet until the water runs clear. Wash the unit in warm water with a mild conditioner. After washing, rinse it in cold water once again.

 

You can also use a color brush as another alternative with is much easier.

2. Dip the brush into the mix rit dye.

3. Brush the lace with it.

4. Rinse and follow the Step4 above
